| Just SVDURAN1 and every Beat Writer in the Nation recognizes the improvement Cable was responsible for. It's like RaiderCraig didn't witness Kiffin kicking holes in the wall before and after leaving. Actually Cable did better than good. He made the most of what he had to work with. He showed the talented players he isn't afraid to cut the dead wood to get them on the field. So even with the killer schedule, Cable just might be exactly what the doctor ordered. | ||

| I've read that the death of Cable's father pushed the announcement back. Just my view.......Al always knew he had Cable waiting in the wings so he took his time, looked at other options and when none of them worked out, went to his back-up plan i.e. Cable. Is anyone out there surprised by the hiring of Cable ? That might have been a better question to ask Brad. Have a great weekend everyone. | ||
