Oakland Raiders
Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell must be eating brain food. One source says he’s gaining weight; another source thinks he’s become a smarter player on the field. Thank you for feeding the ignorant stereotype of Raider fans and for screaming at us. Russell could weigh 400 lbs, what I am concerned with is him missing his targets during non-contact drills. This article basically was just quoting Jerry McDonald’s article and Johnnie Lee Higgins comment. The article really didn’t hate on the Raiders. Russell really has got me worried. $70 million isn’t motivation to work hard? Think about it, this is our franchise quarterback and he doesn’t even show the work ethic to come to camp in shape. All I can do is shake my head.

True, for $70m he could afford a treadmill or 2, but its still May. He can drop the weight. I just hope he can handle the weight of a franchise being placed on his sholders. Worst case scenario we could insert Jeff Garcia and move no.2 over to left tackle then he could eat all he wants.
