If it's true what Walker says and he was nowhere near 100% last season, then that explains a lot. He says he's feeling better than he has in a very long time, and if you listen to guys like Murphy, they say Walker has been really helpful in explaining and teaching the new guys things in the OTA's and Mini-Camp.

Bottom Line: I'm willing to give the guy a 2nd Chance. Right now it will cost us the same amount of money to cut him than it would cost to keep him around, so why not roll the dice. We have no veteran players at WR, so there is a job for him if he comes to camp healthy. He's a former All-Pro guy and now the spotlight won't be on him, but rather on DHB, so he could fly under the radar a bit and surprise. At least I hope so.

Every signing or contract extension the Raiders made last off-season is a complete and utter mistake. Gabri Wilson, Tommy Kelly, and Javon Walker should have never been paid th salaries they were.
