For Raiders, A SuperTanker Full of Kool-Aid Won’t Fix Davis’ Mess

Oakland Raiders
Late August used to mean the coming of the Autumn Wind, the sound heard round the NFL that had opposing teams shaking in their cleats. Not so long ago, the Oakland Raiders had a winning all-time record against EVERY other team in the league. That’s quite an amazing feat when you factor in the inclusion of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys...

Anyone who wishes Al Davis dead is a pathetic douche bag. The man’s days are numbered. I will follow Al until his death. I didn’t even get to enjoy any of the glory days. When its all said and done, it’s only a game.

You are right BIG, I don't think anyone wishes Al to die. Just to pass on the reins. Although I still look upon the upcoming season with hopefulness, I just can't afford financially to back the team. That is as I said some months ago, until Al is gone (and I think we all know how he will let loose the reins) I can not bet on the team to win. Let Cable hire his own assistants, get a general manager that will stand up. I think that is all we are asking for.
I will bleed Silver and Black, I will root for the team to win, I will live and die with every play.

Good artical man.

Yeah, it's terrible what the team, the legacy, and especially the fans have had to endure the last handful of years. At times, more than not, the laughing stock of the league... We hear it from all the other fans, from the so called "experts" on tv, and worst of all we have to watch it...

This team has talent however, the offensive scheme lacks originallity of any kind, and the defenseive sceme, or lack there of is an absolute joke. What happens when you don't blitz at least every once in a while agianst an accurate QB?? You get shredded over and over and over etc...

Al, as great as he has been, all be it pretty many decades ago (except for a brief hiccup called chucky) has been unable to change, or more like unwilling to.

Here's to the good Ol days Al
