Defensive monster Richard Seyour has yet to report to the Oakland Raiders after being traded yesterday. Seymour, who had 8.0 sacks last year was dealt to the Raiders for one first round pick in the 2011 draft. One pick?!? That's all this guy was worth to the Pats? False. Now as a person who usually says suck it up and play, I am a little torn on...

Seymour will report and tough it out in Oakland for one year. If he doesn't he won't get paid this year and he will forfeit the right to become a free agent going into the uncapped 2010 season. The Patriots got what will surely be a top 10 pick for a guy that they probably had no intention of re-signing anyway. The Patriots, like the Steelers, do not become overly enamored of any player because they draft so well and they always have someone to take the vacant spot.

Which, as hard as this is for me to say, makes the Pats one of the premier teams in the league.
