Oakland Raiders
Watching Jamarcus Russell throughout the day, nobody would have thought he would have been able to pull off the comeback. Four of his Seven completions came on the final Raiders drive. It looked like the Raider Defense of recent years had came out to play on Sunday - allowing the Chiefs to run for over 170 yards on the day. Though the Chiefs...

Well done the defence for keeping us in the game as offensively we were dreadful............. Russell didn't look like he could connect with anyone - throwing high, low, behind, in front - sure if found some knew ways to miss receivers as well!!!!

We can't rely on McFadden and Bush to keep the ball moving as teams will just put 8 defenders in the box and hope Rusell won't be able to make plays......

Rusell has to start hitting short routes and build momentum rather than just try to pass 15 - 20 yrds every time. He is looking like a complete rookie out there!!

I was totally surprised that Russell drove down field for the TD. If Russell's performance at his pro-day workout was anything like yeserday's game, makes you wonder what the old man was thinking.

After watching all of yesturday's game I have come to two conclusions:
1) The Raiders need an offensive co-ordinator. Cable is brutal with play selection. McFadden is used as a decoy split wide most of the plays? When McFadden does get the ball it's up the gut instead of using his tremendous speed outside? The Raiders pass more than they run? Did they forget they had one of the up and coming star tight ends?
2) Jmac is officially a bust. He was worse than pathetic. He can't even throw a screen pass. Maybe drafting smart qb's is the way to go.
Sorry for all the negativity after a victory but they barely beat a poor team that dominated them everywhere but the scoreboard. Welcome to another double digit loss season unless they get a real quarterback and someone with a clue calling the plays.
