Oakland Raiders
Insult will be added to injury this Sunday as former Chief Larry Johnson comes to Oakland with his new pals, the Cincinnati Bengals and their high powered offense. Chances are you won’t see Chad Johnson doing any Lambeau Leaps into the Black Hole, but you will see Larry Johnson driving his shoulders through gaping holes in the Raider defense. ...

How are you other Raiders fans dealing with the depression? *seriously* Luckily, I don't have a Raiders website and i'm not an Oakland season ticket holder.

I think about the Raiders all the time, but now force myself not too. I rarely watch Sunday or Monday night football. This is how I deal with it. I in no way could be like a few of those Lions fans out there that's been a fan of Detroit since the 60's. I mean, I can take a couple losing seasons together. Maybe even 3, but now it's 7-years in a row with no glimmer of hope in sight. So, the only thing I can do is push the Raiders out of my thoughts. I still come back here once in a while. Still read news here and there, like today when i read they finally benched JaMarcus after any hopes of playoffs were shattered with 7-losses already. I'll listen to some of the game on Raider Radio this Sunday.

If I start thinking about Al Davis I get soooooo mad. Like serial killer mad... so i really push him out of my thoughts.

This is what i do to just survive, to try and enjoy life & living.

i'm basically in the same therapy boat as you Raidehz. I still watch the games, but not usually the whole thing. I click in and out hopeing to see a couple of really good plays then leave on a good note. I have been so upset these past years that i don't purchase any Raider paraphernalia and will not until something drastic changes. i don't believe and putting money into something that is not willing to put that money into the team in a productive way. I have always thought of Al Davis as the problem, but secretly thought i was just following insight from those conspiracy Davis haters. Now, i am thoroughly convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the problem that has been slowly sinking this galiant ship.

Since 1989 when free agency first started we've had 6 winning seasons. When I read that I was shocked. You'd think you'd get use to losing with that record but I haven't.Every loss is painful and of late embarrassing......
