A winning streak consists of 2 or more wins. The only reason I want Russell to pan out is because I don't want the pick to be wasted. The more I watch him play the more I am convinced he is a complete bust. Another season of agony with no sign of optimism for the future. When will it all end?

We started off the year being told the Raiders were "much improved". Oh really? Proof? We were told that the critics of the Raiders' draft didn't know what they were talking about, that DHB was the fastest player and had great hands, that other WRs were "lineman slow". How many rookie WRs are having better years than the aforementioned DHB? Probably not more than a dozen. DHB, still probably the fastest, just not very good! The Raiders supposedly shore up their defense by swapping next year's #1 for a 30 year old DE to go along with their 34 year old DE. Way to build for the future.

So let's see; bad OL. The best RB is only 6 months younger than Tomlinson. QB questions galore with the strong probability of a high dollar bust on the roster who will cost the Raiders almost $10 million next year. A coach who has had a swirl of legal entanglements surrounding him. A WR group that has to rank near the bottom of the league. The worst home attendance numbers in the NFL.

What does this team have going for it besides a CB and a Punter? Is this the least talented group of performers in the league?
