Raiders’ Culpepper looks solid, but Kiffin won’t commit

Oakland Raiders
According to Daunte Culpepper's stats from Friday night, he was 4 of 8 for just 47 yards and one touchdown. But as is often the case, a stat line doesn't tell the entire story. They don't indicate, for example, that three of the incomplete passes were solid throws that his receivers dropped. And they don't tell of Culpepper continuing to display...

We're pretty damned fortunate to have three reasonably adequate QB's. I bet Culpepper starts because of his experience. Walter and MCcown have looked good enough to justify keeping around. We could have bigger problems, like no qb at all. I think if the ownership and management knew we'd be in this position they would have drafted Calvin Johnson.

I think Daunte Culpepper Deserves The Starting Job, Because Of His TD's.
He Has The Wisdom of a veteran to get himself out of trouble. McCown & Walter are still young and shouldn't
take control of a previous 2-14 team.

Oh' come on Kiff, You know damn well you got your starter with Culpepper. If you want to keep a secret hush for another week, go right ahead, but I for one know that C-Pep is by far our best QB as of today!! Of the three, he has the most experience, the stongest arm, and the most accurate passer!! This means he's the best QB on our team!! Kiff took him out early in the game as to say "O.K. ive seen enough, you are our starter" No point in risking an injury on a pre-season game!! McCown is good, but not good enough!! Same with Walter!! Kiff go ahead and play your games, but you are not fooling me at all!!Culpepper is our best choice to lead us out from the dark side!! And im sure most Raider players would agree with me!! So I say to Kiff......Stop playing around and give Culpepper the keys to the Ferrari and let him drive us to promised land!! Let's Go Raiders!!!
