No reason at all to have Mathis. Not with Cartwright, Thrash, Randle-El and now Thomas and Tryon.

You guys aren't loosing anything here, but bad publicity. I've watched enough games, and Rock Cartwright can be a game breaker at times. (He's a full back right?)

I see Tyron also getting some looks because of the Redskins depth at defensive back.

Actually Rock Cartwright is a RB, close enough. But yeah there is plenty of people on the roster who has the ability to return punts or kicks. Along with the players I mentioned above they also have Santana Moss who can change a game anytime with the ball in his hands.
