Redskins’ Snyder just doesn’t get it

At this time a year ago, the Washington Redskins were gearing up for free agency, hoping to bring in the right players to put a 10-6 team from 2005 over the top in '06. They added big names like Antwaan Randle El, Brandon Lloyd, Andre Carter and Adam Archuleta for astronomical contracts, and all it got them was a highly disappointing 5-11 record....

Why does everyone give Gibbs a free pass? SNYDER isn't the one scouting, making acquisitions, so why does he get bashed? He's just signing the checks for the players his coaches say they need.

I don't think Gibbs is getting a "free pass". He does have some cred, but it's time to put up. Snyder, however, is ALOT more than just a "check signer". Let's not forget his infatuation with Jeff George as well as others. The Redskins have become his real life fantasy football team.

Yeah, they have become his real life fantasy football team, that he doesnt know how to manage! Snyder is everything thats wrong with football, and for that reason he and the skins are going NO WHERE. I think skin fans are finally starting to get it too. I remember last season they were so optimistic about there free agent aquisitions and in Snyder they trusted. Nope, they didnt listen to old Cochise when he insisted that the offseason moves were poor and bound to send them in a downward spiral. Well, last season was a bust, and nothing is gonna change for as long as Danny is on top. Sorry DC, tough times lie ahead.
