Damn right-- even as a Giants fan, I give Monk his due. We've got James Lofton, Charlie Joiner and John Stallworth in the Hall now, and I'm not knocking them, but I think Monk is on par with all three.

Just seeing the names "Art Monk" and "Darrell Green" brings nostalgic tears to my eyes. Anyone who was a fan of quality football during the '80s will read those two names with proper reverence. They both deserve to be in the hall. Let's hope it happens in 2008.

I started watching football in the UK during the 80's so just hearing the name "Art Monk" brings back a lot of good memories.I hope he get's in the HoF.I really do.I just hope he's up there next year with Guy,Stabler and Plunkett.
