Anyone who refers to the Watergate burglary as "relatively unimportant" should a) brush up on their history and b) lay off the political allusions in their NFL columns.

Maybe I don't understand something... I don't understand how the comment regarding the "relatively unimportant Watergate burglary" has anyting to do with sports- other than, to perhaps highlight how much cheating has corrupted and permeated fair play(a forgotten concept).

I can only gather that the author of that statement is neither an athelete, a historian, or a patriot. It seems the author has no depth of knowledge about sportsmanship, sacrifice, character, or the concept of a level playing field. Basically the author condones and promotes cheating, I guess.
