I asked my wife to forgive me Saturday night for dropping a half-empty bottle of beer on the floor in our TV room. You lost your credibility when you stated: "It all began with the resignation of Joe Gibbs on Jan. 8, a decision many believe was forced by Snyder, despite statements to the contrary."

Snyder idolizes Gibbs. He grew up watching him win Superbowls. Snyder is an idiot and went about this all wrong but he did not ask Gibbs to resign.

Thing is Synder took a different path this offseason. Every single year they win the championship for "the best team on paper". Every year Synder throws that money around to the biggest name coaches and players. For once Syner didn't do that, by not trading the draft picks for Chad Johnson and giving Zorn a shot. I think he was looking at coaches like Mike Tomlin, Ken Whisenhunt, Mike Smith, Jim Harbaugh, and Tony Sparano. Jim Zorn was too a coach who deserved a shot at becoming a head coach and now has a chance to prove to the NFL and Sydner that he did make a good decision.
