New Orleans Saints
Hell and back may be the best way to describe first-round wide receiver Robert Meachem's rookie year with the Saints. The former Tennessee Volunteer reported to camp out of shape, tweaked his ankle and everything went downhill from there. Lingering knee problems rendered Meachem inactive for all 16 games and he earned the ignominious distinction...

Great Article Randy,
I would totally agree, I thought Meachem mad a hell of a catch and running it back for TD. Enluding the 6 defenders on his way to the end zone was cool. The 2nd catch late in the 2nd quarter was also outsanding, considering he lost in the lights and was like a acrobrate in the circus to try to catch it was awesome. Considering Meachem sat out for all of last season, you never would of known it. He seemed to play with a passion. Just the fact that he drove 1hr to Patten's home every day for grueling workouts, showed how much he cares & love for the game, wanted to learn & it paid off. I feel the Saints played over all a very good game. Brees looked good for the short time he played.
I know this is only 1 game & only pre-season, but if the Saints keep playing the way they did last night; they very well could win the NFC South and possibly make a fun for the Grand Daddy of them all - The Super Bowl. GEAUX Saints!!!!!!

Meachem did look very well in last nights preseason game. If he can continue to improve and stay healthy it looks like another impressive weapon to add for Drew Brees. I think this Saints team could easily being playing in the NFC Championship game.

This guy along with Marcus is going to be a solid WR core fore Brees to throw to making them a deadly combo and leading my book to win their division this yr.
