New Orleans Saints
When preseason drills begin for the New Orleans Saints in August, quarterbacks Todd Bouman and Jamie Martin could be competing for a starting position. There's a catch, of course. Obviously, the Saints aren't paying Drew Brees megabucks to leave him on the bench. But if the coaching staff doesn't feel Brees' arm strength has fully returned from...

Martin and Bouman huh? We won't win with any of these guys. Why don't we give the young Mac a chance? I know he is much more capable than Martin and Bouman. I respect them because they are in the league but they are not as capable as Mcpherson by any means. He may have gotten into some trouble but gee whiz, people change. Especially, when they've made a mistake, admitted it, and learned from it. Shucks, Mac is better than the guy the Saints paid all that money for. If you ask me, he should have been playing in the place of that Brooks fella. (I'm just a weary fan who wants to win) Now I hear a rumor that their shopping Mac around. Oh my goodness. I don't like that at all. It is a shame what this game and all sports games are all about now. Play the people you pay the most money to even if they are not producing. That is nuts. If I had someone on the bench that could help me win games that was being paid less I would let him play. After all, isn't it all about the team. Just my two cents. Keep Mac!!!!

Blowman? I mean Bouman? This guy should not make the upcoming cut. JMartin led the Rams to a but kicking over the Saints last year and is a solid backup for #9. AMac is a keeper! NFL Europe him next summer if needed. Cutting Bouman will give AMac more reps in preseason. If some team wants Bouman hopefully we can get a linebacker or O-lineman out of it.
Sarasota Saint, Yaurite!
