New Orleans Saints
(Third in a series) Last year, the New Orleans Saints' draft was like a cracker jack box -- there was a surprise at the bottom. His name was Marques Colston, and he came out of nowhere, otherwise known as Hofstra. But he was big (230 pounds), tall (6-foot-5) and fast, so it's hard to understand why so many other teams passed on him before the...

I don't understand how this could be considered to be "not a great draft, but not bad". Though it's early, Bush and Colston alone, in my opinion, put it in a "very good" category. Evans came in as a rookie and played well as a guard. Harper looked good before the injury, so if he avoids similar troubles as well as regressing, this should end up being one of the best drafts in recent memory.

"not a great draft, but not bad"...this story was terrible, not slightly bad. last year's draft will go down as one of the best in team history. at one point in the season draft pick 7.a Zack Strief out of NW was protecting the 10 million dollar QB's back side against Simeon Rice, and doing a very good job. you also have to figure in the two trade backs that netted starting center Jeff Faine, and Hollis Thomas. Lay and Hass were misses, though Hass is still on a nfl roster. Ninkovich and Harper were hits, just got hurt. But when you figure: bush (one of the best college players ever, harper (day one starter, played well, should be mainstay), faine (former #1 pick, played really well), hollis (beast of DT), jahri evans (future probowler), strief (possible starting LT, played well) and marques coloston (near DROY, future probowler) that's freak'in awesome. who the hell hired the guy who wrote this story.
