Tennessee Titans
With Tennessee in for an action-packed offseason, Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt is a busy man these days. But if you had to pick which is the top priority for the team, you'd be hard-pressed to choose anything other than re-signing Albert Haynesworth. Of course, Reinfeldt & Co. have until March 5 to retain the All-Pro defensive tackle; in...

Dealing with Pacman Jones is also high on the list for the Titans. They missed him in the secondary all last season and they need to make him happy now given everything thats happened.

You are nuts. Pacman Jones is a plague, a disease I wish we as Titans fans would never have been affiliated with. Here is a list of players (and notable stats) we could have drafted in the first round of 2005 instead of this idiot:

Antrel Rolle-(10 pass deflections, 5 picks three for TDS in 2007 alone)

DeMarcus Ware-(33.5 sacks in three seasons)

Shawne Merriman- (no need for stats here)

Lofa Tatupu- (259 solo tackles, 8 picks in three seasons)

That's just defensively. On offense, you have two all pro linemen in Jammal Brown and Logan Mankins, Heath Miller at tight end and Jerome Mathis for special teams/receiver (two of our obvious weak spots) and Frank Gore and Marion Barber at HB (I like Lendale too but imagine these guys).

I will strangle anyone who apologizes to Jones and invites him back to camp next season. Cut your losses and move on.

Pacman Jones is way better than Rolle. You can't really compare based on 2007 because the NFL wouldn't let Pacman play. Pacman would have had 10 or more picks easy in 2007. Jones is a superstar and the Titans should work with him rather than ending up with a situation like the bears did with Tank Johnson or Oakland with Moss. The bears ended up giving Johnson to Dallas for nothing and then so-called problem child johnson had no problems and played great. Oakland gave away Moss (and a superbowl) to the patriots for a fourth round choice. Pacman is a major defensive star in the league and the Titans can't afford to lose him.
