Tampering, I say if the player retired and is still listed as such...anyone can talk to him about anytihng they want to. That being said, as a Viking fan...I don't want favre in purple this season.

Every team in the league does it in one form or another. A friend of a friend, a current player, the agent, organizations use all of these and more to communicate with unapproachable players. I just feel like this league will never have any integrity again. At least in the 90s we had the illusion of integrity, before we found out about the drug abuse and partying before Super Bowls. Now, we suspect every move at every moment as fowl play, and usually we are vindicated for our suspicions.

I don't know how I feel about this whole situation. I just don't think Favre should even go play for Minnesota no matter how bad he wants to play.
