He'll sit out the Steelers game, but the question is should he sit out the Cowboys game too? Is there any any advantage to have him run a series or two in Dallas, or just let him get his reps in practice while focusing on the Packers?

Childress will ultimately make that decision, but either way should work. I wonder if two weeks off would let a little rust set in? Nah, he'd be fine.

I wouldnt play him the rest of the preseason I couldnt risk another injury before the season starts but who knows what the vikings will do.

Yeah he def. shouldn't do play or practice much in any more pre season games. After the last preseason game though I think he should practice that week leading up to GB. This guy is a major role in these Vikings who many think can win the NFC North.
