He wrote: "Hiring an interim coach based on a knee-jerk reaction is never a good idea, and this fits the bill to a T. Great article, I think many WV fans were also concerned about the hiring of Coach Stew at the time. Having the same feeling as your buddy Sam. But WV's new coach has done everything right since he took the reigns. He jumped on track and ran the 40 in 4.0 flat! The only interm coach to win a bowl game, beating one of the best teams in the country, hiring a top notch staff, recruiting and discipline all handled like a pro within a 5 week period. How many other coaches can boast of such an undertaking. Now, we have our fingers crossed that he'll handle the X's & O's of the game in the same fashion.
Thanks for the kind words. Go Mountaineers!

The main concern that I had was how the income'n class. It looks like it is just as good if not beter than the past. Another concern I had was the staff that Stew would be able to get to help, the high guys that were ran out of town 3-4 years ago by then coach, no name needed, are back for more and are showing their ture colors! Old Gold and Blue!
