Out with the new, in with the old for CarolinaFriday, February 29, 2008 | By Hugo GuzmanCarr only made it through one season of a two-year deal worth $6 million. He was relegated to third string after he threw for three touchdowns, five interceptions and a miserable 105 yards per game in the six contests he played in place of starter Jake Delhomme. Muhammad played the last three seasons with Chicago. He caught 578 passes for 7,751 yards in nine seasons for the Panthers. In his last season with the team, he racked up a career-high 16 touchdown grabs. Commentary: Muhammad is a possession receiver. He'll take coverage pressure off Steve Smith, and the Panthers might be able to reinstate the long ball. And maybe he can teach speedy youngster Dwayne Jarrett a thing or two. Fantasy Football Impact: Muhammad might be worth a last-round flier in next year's fantasy draft. He could put up 600-700 yards and a few touchdowns. Carr, on the other hand, will likely never be on a fantasy roster again. Fantasy analysis year-round at Realfootball365.com.
